Smootter is your own automation engine for the browser: build tools, save shortcuts, expand text, and see what pages are doing — all powered by the AI model you choose, with zero subscriptions. WHAT YOU CAN DO 🔧 Tools — Describe what you need in plain language and Smootter's AI writes a working browser tool for you: a real automation script, built and saved, running exactly when and where you say. No coding required, but the code is always visible and editable if you want to tweak it. 🔗 Bookmarklets — A searchable, taggable, categorized library for the links you actually want to keep, with AI-powered search across your whole collection. ⌨️ Replacer — Type a short trigger (like /home) in any text field on any site and it expands into text you saved. Triggers starting with /ai- go further: your AI model rewrites what you just typed, live, right where you're typing — tone changes, translations, cleanup, whatever you ask for. 📰 Resumer — Hover an article to reveal a summarize button, sending it straight into an AI chat. 📡 Network — See what a page is really doing, so you know what to automate. Every resource a page loads, including ones hidden from view — this is what feeds the Tools engine with real information instead of guesses. 💬 Chat — A general-purpose AI conversation, right inside the extension, that can research the open web when a question needs real, current information. BRING YOUR OWN AI, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS Every AI-powered feature works with an LLM endpoint YOU configure — a local model (e.g. Ollama), or any OpenAI-compatible provider. Smootter never bundles or resells model access, and nothing is sent anywhere until you configure your own endpoint and use an AI feature. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Tools, bookmarklets, replacer entries, and chat history are stored locally in your browser. Network captures are headers-only, in memory, cleared on navigation.
