Overview
Organize Chrome tabs automatically: smart grouping, deduplication, session management. No AI, no tracking. Privacy-first.
martTab Organizer organizes your tabs for you. No black magic, no AI, no subscription. Just rules that work in the background. You define rules by domain, and the extension does the rest: when you open a link (wheel click or right click), the tab automatically joins the right group. If the group doesn't exist, it is created. You can also organize all your open tabs at once with a single click. Smart grouping The group name can be extracted from the page title, the URL, or via regular expressions. Presets are included for Jira, GitLab, GitHub, and Trello—the pattern extracts the ticket key directly from the URL. Duplicate detection Opening an existing tab is intercepted: the focus returns to the original tab, which is reloaded. Four detection modes are available: exact URL, domain + path, domain only, or inclusion. Sessions Save a snapshot of your open tabs at any time. Pin sessions for quick access from the popup. Restore a session in full or selectively—conflicts are surfaced and resolved step by step. A built-in editor lets you reorganize tabs and groups before restoring. Complete configuration Add, edit, enable/disable each rule with categories to keep them organized. An import/export wizard lets you save and share rules in JSON, with automatic classification (new, conflicting, identical) and a comparative view to resolve conflicts. Sessions can be exported and imported the same way. Search Full-text search across rules and sessions—matches are highlighted, accent-insensitive. Accessibility Full keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, ARIA labels. Light, dark, or automatic theme. Available in French, English, and Spanish. Open source (GPLv3) — code available on GitHub. ## 1.1.2 — since 1.1.1 ### New Features - Sessions note field for custom session annotations - Split save button for active tab group with capture validation - Domain rule drag-and-drop reordering with automatic migration ### Improvements - Decoupled 4 critical React components for better code maintainability - CI: Sharded E2E tests across 3 parallel runners; improved test failure reporting - Enforced unique session names to match domain rule label behavior
