SmartShield is a research assist tool for recruiters. It reads resume PDFs wherever you already work — your ATS, inbox, or any browser tab — and researches the claims against public sources: employers, education, LinkedIn, cross-source consistency, and AI-written-text signals. WHAT YOU GET • A trust score (0–100) that shows its own arithmetic — every deducted point is explained, category by category, with a fixed cap per category. • Coverage — how much of the resume could actually be checked, so you know what the score is based on. Below 40% a scan is marked "Unverified". • Findings anchored to the exact text on the resume. Click a finding, see the claim highlighted on the document. • Review workflow — accept or dispute each finding right in the viewer. Disputed findings visibly retire; your verdicts sync to the dashboard. • Share a read-only report link or export a polished PDF. • Works on scanned resumes (OCR), Word documents, plain text, and images. It is not a background check, not a consumer report, and never makes hiring decisions.
