Free forever. We will never ask you to pay to install or use this extension. No subscription, paid upgrade or payment details are required for the extension. Use SmartMeet from Chrome to open meetings, keep meeting links and local reminders, and bring selected web sources into your private Canvas. Meetings and reminders • Start or join SmartMeet meetings, open your dashboard, or schedule a meeting. • Save meeting names and links on this device, with an optional reminder five minutes before the start. Chrome must be running and notifications enabled. • Invitation tokens are removed from saved links. Browser inbox • Capture a page title, link and the text you deliberately select using the toolbar or right-click menu. • Review the source locally, then choose Review in Canvas to open SmartMeet. • Sign in, choose a project and select Save privately. This creates a private Markdown file; sharing requires a separate website action. Privacy and control No automatic browsing-history collection, advertising, analytics, remote code, or microphone/camera recording. Page capture happens only when you request it. URL queries and fragments are removed; review selected text and URL paths before saving. Unsaved captures expire after seven days. Remove a source or clear saved extension data at any time. Clearing local data does not delete files already imported into your SmartMeet account. New installations use https://smartmeet.org. An explicit staging workspace option is available for testing. Local saved links and reminders need no account; authenticated Canvas import needs a SmartMeet account and an active project where you can add files. Use your own email to receive a sign-in code.
