Smartlink Health is a workflow assistant for healthcare staff at organizations that subscribe to Smartlink Health services. It runs only on the web applications your organization uses, and helps your team move between those systems and Smartlink Health without repetitive manual steps. A Smartlink Health account is required. The extension does nothing until you sign in. What it does • Single sign-on — Adds a secure sign-in option so staff can access Smartlink Health services without re-entering credentials. • Appointment sync — On scheduling pages, sends the appointment details you select to your organization's Smartlink Health workspace, removing duplicate data entry. • In-workflow guidance — Displays care recommendations and referral information from your organization's Smartlink Health account directly alongside the record you are viewing. Where it runs The extension activates only on the specific web applications your organization has configured with Smartlink Health. It does not run on other websites and does not read your general browsing activity. Permissions • Host access to Smartlink Health servers — required to sign you in and exchange data with your organization's workspace. • activeTab — used to read the page you are currently working on only when you invoke an extension action. Privacy Data is transmitted only between the application you are using and your organization's Smartlink Health account, over encrypted connections.
