SmartCopy is a personal snippet & paste manager. Save the things you paste over and over — signatures, addresses, boilerplate, links, images — and drop them into any website three ways: • Right-click → Smart Paste — pick a snippet, it’s inserted at your cursor. • Keyboard shortcuts — assign a combo to a snippet for instant paste. • Keywords — type a trigger word; a red underline appears (like a spell-checker), click it to replace the word with your snippet. Collect as you browse: • Right-click → Copy to SmartCopy saves the selected text (with formatting), an image, or a link straight into your library — type auto-detected. Quick Copy: • The toolbar popup lists your top snippets — click one to copy it to the clipboard. Content types supported: plain text, formatted (rich) text, links/URLs, images, files. Your data stays on your device — everything is stored locally in the browser. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Export/Import as JSON for backup or to move between machines.
