SmartBid by Alago helps you evaluate a car at an online auction before you bid. It adds a compact card to lot pages and extra information to search results. WHAT YOU GET (FREE) • Seller type: insurance company, dealer, bank or finance, rental, fleet, charity. A seller's name is shown only when the auction itself shows it; otherwise the type is an estimate marked "≈". • Full VIN where available, with a one-click copy button. • Estimated sale time: the lot's place in the queue and the approximate time it will be sold, in the time zone you choose. • Total cost: your bid, auction fees, shipping to the port of Poti, Poti to Baku and customs duties, in USD and local currency. Azerbaijan customs come from the official customs calculator; Georgia and Ukraine are calculated by the published rules. Figures are estimates: check the final cost before you bid. • Search pages: seller type, sale time and "viewed" marks on every lot, filters and sorting. • Interface in Russian, English, Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and Georgian. SMART SEARCH PRO (paid) • Smart Search: the day's lots in one list with queue place, estimated sale time and filters by engine size, year, bid, seller and yard. Works for both supported auctions. • Jackpots: lots that sell soon while the bid is still low, highlighted, with your own time and bid limits. • Lot reminders: press the bell on a lot and get a browser notification 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before it sells, once per lot. • Bids refresh on demand, so you see current numbers, not the ones from when the list was loaded. • Try Pro free for 3 days, no card needed. After that Pro costs $10 per month and renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel at any time in the extension: Settings > Smart Search Pro > Manage subscription; Pro then works until the end of the paid month. Until you sign in, the extension adds nothing to the auction pages. • The pages you view are not sent to us. We keep your e-mail, a password hash and your subscription status. No ads, no analytics, no sale of data. • To show a VIN and to calculate customs, the extension sends the number of the lot you open and the car's price and parameters to third-party services.
