Smart Summarizer turns any text on any web page into a clear, easy explanation — in the language you choose. Just select text, right-click, and choose “Summarize with AI”. A clean popup shows a simple summary with key points, so you never miss what matters. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The extension has no servers of its own. Your selected text and prompt go directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose, using your own API key. Your key is stored only in your browser. Nothing is collected or sent to the developer. HOW TO USE 1) Open Settings, pick a provider, paste your API key and click Connect. 2) Select text on any page and right-click → “Summarize with AI”. 3) Read a simple explanation in your chosen language. Get a free API key from your provider — Google AI Studio (Gemini), or Groq / OpenRouter for free models.
