Overview

Multiple proxy profiles with URL-pattern auto-switching and auth, for Chrome & Firefox.

Broxy — Smart Proxy Manager Route specific websites through a proxy while keeping all other traffic direct. OVERVIEW Broxy gives you precise control over how your browser traffic is routed. Instead of forcing your entire session through a single proxy, Broxy lets you choose exactly which websites use which proxy — and everything else keeps going out on your normal connection. This selective, rule-based routing improves performance, avoids unnecessary latency, and gives developers, testers, security professionals, and advanced users the flexibility a system-wide proxy can't. Set up your proxy servers once, write a few rules, and Broxy handles the rest automatically. FEATURES • Multiple Proxy Profiles Save as many proxy servers as you need — each with its own scheme, host, port, and optional credentials — and switch between them per rule. • Per-Site Rule Routing Send only the domains you specify through a proxy. Rules are checked top to bottom and the first match wins, so you stay in full control. • Flexible Pattern Matching Match sites by wildcard (*.example.com), by domain (example.com and its subdomains), or with a full regular expression for advanced cases. • One-Click Toggle Turn proxy routing on or off instantly from the popup, with a clear On/Off status indicator. • Configurable Fallback Decide what happens to non-matching traffic: keep it direct, or route everything through a chosen proxy. • Proxy Authentication Provide a username and password for proxies that require it (HTTP/HTTPS). • Backup & Restore Export your entire configuration to a JSON file and import it on another browser or machine. • Persistent & Local All settings and rules are stored locally and restored automatically between browser sessions. SUPPORTED PROXY TYPES • HTTP • HTTPS (CONNECT) • SOCKS4 • SOCKS5 Note: Chrome does not support username/password authentication for SOCKS proxies — Broxy hides those fields and tells you when SOCKS is selected. USE CASES • Web application debugging • API testing through local proxies • Security research and traffic inspection • Corporate network environments • Accessing region-specific services • Development and QA workflows Works with Burp Suite, Charles Proxy, mitmproxy, corporate gateways, and remote proxy servers. HOW IT WORKS Add a proxy profile — enter your server's host and port (and a login if it needs one). Create a routing rule — match a site such as *.example.com and point it at a profile. Turn Broxy on. Only matching sites are routed through the configured proxy. All other traffic stays direct. PRIVACY Broxy is built to keep your data on your device. • No analytics • No telemetry • No third-party tracking Your proxy configuration and routing rules are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device. PERMISSIONS • proxy — Apply browser-level proxy routing rules. • storage — Save your proxy settings and rules locally. • webRequest / webRequestAuthProvider — Respond to proxy authentication challenges. • privacy — Manage proxy-related privacy settings (e.g. WebRTC protection). • Host access (<all_urls>) — Required so routing rules can be matched against the sites you visit. Broxy does not read or store page content.
