# Shop internationally. See prices in your currency. **Smart Price** is an automatic currency converter for Chrome that makes international shopping easier to understand. It detects supported prices on webpages and shows converted amounts **right where you browse** — no switching tabs, searching exchange rates, or reaching for a calculator. Choose your currency, pick how prices appear, and browse. ## 💱 Prices, your way Choose how Smart Price displays converted prices: **Converted** — Replace detected prices with your preferred currency. **Both prices** — See the original and converted amounts side by side. **On hover** — Keep original prices visible and reveal conversions when you hover. Need a quick conversion instead? Select a recognized price to open a compact conversion card with rate details, or use the **Quick Convert** action from the right-click menu. ## 🧮 An independent currency calculator The manual currency converter is always available directly in the popup. Choose its own **source and target currencies** without changing your automatic shopping currency. The calculator stays completely independent and works even when automatic page conversion is switched off. ## 📈 Rates that fit your needs Use regularly refreshed exchange rates or take control with your own settings. **Custom rates** — Set a custom exchange rate for a specific currency pair. **Provider markup** — Add an optional markup to individual pairs to estimate bank or provider exchange costs. **Favorites** — Search available currencies and save the ones you use most for quick switching. Currency coverage depends on available provider rates and your custom settings. ## 🌐 Control conversion for every website Pause or resume conversion for the current site directly from the popup. You can manage **allowed and blocked websites**, or configure Smart Price to convert prices only on sites you explicitly allow. Some currency symbols — such as **¥** or **$** — can represent multiple currencies. When detection is ambiguous, you can manually choose the source currency for that website. Chinese yuan detection includes symbols and currency hints commonly found on shopping sites such as Taobao and Tmall. Website layouts vary, so some prices may not always be detected. ## ⚙️ Set it up once A simple first-install setup helps you choose your: • Language • Preferred currencies • Display style • Automatic conversion preference Your settings — including independent calculator currencies — are saved locally for your next visit. Smart Price includes **11 interface languages**, including English and Turkish, with automatic browser-language detection. Choose between **Light, Dark, or System** themes. Optional price highlighting is off by default, and rounding settings let you control how converted amounts appear. ## ⌨️ Quick site shortcut Toggle conversion for the current website without opening the popup: **Windows / Linux:** Alt + Shift + T **macOS:** Option + Shift + T ## 🔒 Privacy, explained simply **No account required. No developer analytics. No tracking.** Prices are processed locally on your device. Your preferences and cached exchange rates also stay on your device. Exchange-rate requests do not include webpage URLs or detected price text. Rate providers receive normal network metadata, including your IP address. ### A note about exchange rates Converted prices are estimates and may differ from the merchant's final charge. Rates refresh periodically rather than in real time, and cached or fallback estimates may be used when providers are temporarily unavailable. Bank fees, taxes, shipping costs, and other charges can affect the final amount.
