Smart Page Assistant helps you understand web pages faster. Open the side panel to read an article aloud, translate text, get a quick summary, or ask questions about the page you are viewing. It is made for everyday browsing: long articles, foreign-language pages, technical docs, messy sites, and pages where you just want the point before reading everything. The cleaner page extraction engine helps skip menus, banners, sidebars, recommendations, and other noise before reading or summarizing. The extension also adds a writing helper to X. It can draft a reply, clean up text you already typed, or help you answer when you know what you mean but cannot find the right words. Add your own OpenRouter key and start with the free models already configured in the extension. If you later want stronger paid models, you can add them yourself. The setup guide is included. READ PAGES YOUR WAY - Read the main content of a page without menus, navigation, and ads. - Listen to the whole article, selected text, or from a selected word to the end. - Pause, resume, stop, and adjust voice speed or volume on the page. - Use Google TTS from the browser or local Piper speech. UNDERSTAND FIRST, READ LATER - Get a short, medium, or detailed summary. - Translate the current page or selected text into your chosen language. - Ask follow-up questions about the page or its topic. - Quickly understand a foreign-language page and decide if it is worth your time. - Include page images in the summary when the selected AI model supports images. WRITE BETTER POSTS AND REPLIES ON X - Draft a reply even when the reply box is empty. - Improve or proofread text you have already typed. - Reply in the language of the original post or conversation. - Choose a reaction, such as neutral, agree, or disagree. - Set personas and reply styles to match your tone. - Create new posts in a more creative style, with optional emoji. - Review every result before posting. The extension never publishes anything by itself. AI AND PRIVACY AI features use your own OpenRouter API key. The extension comes with free OpenRouter models configured. Paid models are used only if you add them yourself. Page text is sent to OpenRouter only when you choose an AI action, such as a summary, translation, page question, or X writing help. Smart Page Assistant has no ads and no built-in analytics. Local Piper text to speech works without sending text to an AI model. User support helps the project keep improving.
