Overview

Smart kanban views for Google Tasks — Today, This Week, Overdue, and more — inside Tasks and Calendar.

Smart Lists for Google Tasks turns Google Tasks into a focused planning board inside Google Tasks, Google Calendar, and Chrome’s side panel. Instead of one flat task list, Smart Lists groups your tasks into Overdue, Today, Next 7 days, Later, and No Date. Choose whether the board is organized by Start Date or Smart Lists Due Date, sort each column, drag tasks into your preferred order, and switch into Today Focus when you only want today’s work. Core features: - Smart Lists overlay inside Google Tasks and Google Calendar - Chrome side panel for a compact task view from any tab - Overdue, Today, Next 7 days, Later, and No Date views - Separate Start Date and Smart Lists Due Date fields - Repeating Start Dates for daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly tasks - Quick add, inline title and notes editing, complete, delete, and task ordering - Subtasks with add, edit, complete, delete, and drag-reorder support - Search across tasks and filter with hashtag tags from titles, notes, and subtasks - Clickable Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet, and web link chips - Capture the current page as a Google Task with the page title, URL, and favicon - Customizable keyboard shortcuts for opening Smart Lists and capturing pages - Custom column colors, per-column sorting, Move All Overdue, and Today Focus - Shared sign-in state between the overlay and Chrome side panel Smart Lists uses Google sign-in only so you can allow the extension to read and update your Google Tasks. Preferences such as colors, ordering, sorting, and onboarding state are stored locally in your browser. Smart Lists does not use ads, analytics, tracking pixels, remote code, or a developer-owned server for your task data.
