Smart Link Router
Overview
Route tabs to open links in a chosen window
Smart Link Router is a small, focused tool for anyone who works with multiple browser windows and wants links to open exactly where they belong. Smart Link Router lets you assign a browser tab to a specific window. Once assigned, any link you click in that tab opens in the chosen window instead of the current one. This keeps your workspace clean and organized. What it does - Routes links from a specific tab to a selected window - Works automatically on normal left-clicks - Shows an indicator on the extension icon when a tab is routed - Leaves all other tabs untouched - No ads. No tracking. Open source. How to use 1. Open at least two Chrome windows. 2. Go to the tab you want to route. 3. Click the Smart Link Router icon. 4. Select the target window. 5. Click "Route this tab to selected window". To stop routing, open the popup and click "Clear route". Good to know - Routing is per tab - Routes are cleared when the source tab is closed or when the target window is closed - Modifier clicks (Ctrl / Cmd / Shift) are never routed - Refresh pages after installing or updating the extension If you enjoy this extension, buy me a coffee! > https://ko-fi.com/lennonka Found a bug or want to request a new feature?
