What is on screen goes first, and the rest of the page follows. WHAT IT TRANSLATES - Page text, menus, tables and the page title - Search box hints, button labels and tooltips - Content that loads later, such as infinite scroll, tabs and chat - Text inside iframes and web components - Canvas, PDF viewers and video frames, on demand: press "Read this screen" and the translation is listed in the popup FREE ALLOWANCE The extension includes a free allowance of roughly 50 new pages. After that it locks until you enter an access code from us. You can request a code from the extension. IMAGES (BETA) Tick "Translate images too" to have text inside product photos and banners translated and painted over the original. This is off by default. 16 LANGUAGES English, Turkish, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Hindi. HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED To translate a page, the extension sends its Chinese text, page title and site name to DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider that says it processes and stores data in the People's Republic of China. This includes pages you are logged in to, unless you turn the site off. Images and screenshots are sent only if you turn on image translation or press "Read this screen". Nothing is sent until you agree on the welcome page. When the free allowance runs out, the extension tells us a random install ID, its version and the amount used, and your email address if you request a code. Page content is never included. Don't use it on pages with information you wouldn't share with DeepSeek. There is no account, analytics or advertising. WHAT IT LEAVES ALONE Text you type in input boxes and editors stays as it is. Apps outside the browser are not translated.
