Smart Blur is a Chrome extension that blurs and redacts personally identifiable information (PII) on any webpage. All processing runs locally in your browser—nothing is sent to external servers. **AI mode — best for unstructured PII** Turn on AI mode to automatically detect and blur sensitive text that’s hard to catch with rules alone: • Street addresses and full addresses • Usernames and account names • Person names (first, last, full) • Email addresses • Phone numbers • Bank Account Number • Other personal identifiers in free-form text The AI model runs entirely in your browser using local machine learning.
