Smallcaps restyles text with Unicode font styles like ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘꜱ, 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝 and 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮 right where you're typing. Select text, right-click, pick a style, and the text is replaced in place. It's the official extension from smallcaps.app and uses the same 50+ styles as the site. HOW IT WORKS • Right-click selected text and choose "Restyle with Smallcaps", then pick a style. Text in input boxes, comment fields and rich text editors is replaced in place. • If the selected text can't be edited, the restyled version is copied to your clipboard instead. The toolbar badge shows ✓ when text was replaced and COPY when it was copied. • Open the popup to type or paste text once, preview it in every style, and copy the one you want. • Star your favorite styles to keep them at the top of the popup and in the right-click menu. • Turn styled Unicode text back into plain text from the right-click menu or the popup. GOOD TO KNOW The styles are Unicode characters, not installed fonts, so they paste anywhere that accepts text. Some styles may not display on every device, and screen readers may not read them well, so keep important information in plain text. On pages Chrome protects, such as chrome:// pages, the result is copied instead of replaced. PRIVACY Smallcaps runs entirely in your browser. It makes no network requests, collects no data, and has no analytics or ads. It reads the page only when you choose a menu item, and only in the current tab.
