Small Screen Focus Reader declutters web pages on 13–14" laptop screens, so you can read without fighting sidebars, ads, and blank padding that eats half your display. How it works: • Detects small viewports automatically (threshold tunable in Settings) • Hides sidebars, ad containers, promo/newsletter banners, and cookie notices outside the main content • Collapses empty sections — the invisible padding blocks common on responsive sites • Centers the main article in a comfortable reading column with adjustable width and font scale • Smooth-scrolls to the content if it's buried below a tall header • Follows SPA navigation and lazy-loaded content via MutationObserver Toggle in one tap: Click the toolbar icon (or press Alt+Shift+F) to toggle focus mode on the current site. A floating pill at the bottom-right also appears on small viewports for quick one-tap access. Per-site control: Every site can be forced on or off independently, regardless of screen size. Your settings and overrides sync across your Chrome-signed-in devices. Optional Saved Sites list: Sign in with your existing Chrome profile (no password or OAuth prompt required — reads the email you're already signed in with) to unlock a personal Saved Sites list. All processing happens locally in your browser. No data leaves your device.
