)Overview
Smack annoying posts out of your LinkedIn and X feeds. Click the 🖐️ on any post. Uses each site's own hide feature.
Smack annoying posts out of your LinkedIn and X feeds. Each post gets a 🖐️ • on LinkedIn, on top of the 'hide post' button • on X, next to the ... menu Click it and a hand swoops in, sends the post flying off your screen, and yells SMACK! Hover the hand emoji to fan out more styles: 🤡 CRINGE!, 🥱 BORING!, and your own styles. Under the hood, it works exactly the same as 'hide post' (LinkedIn) or 'not interested in this post' (X): • Hides the post from your feed • Your feed learns what you don't like • You can undo • You don't unfollow the person • The person doesn't get notified It's just more fun 🏓 Good to know: • Works on LinkedIn's home feed and on X's For you timeline; doesn't work on ads • Requires the platform's language to be English • Edit all five styles in settings • Sound effects are on by default, you can mute • Follows LinkedIn's, X's and Chrome's light/dark theme • Honors your system's reduced-motion settings • No data collection, no servers; settings sync via your Chrome profile If smacking ever stops working, LinkedIn or X probably changed their page structure. The extension will tell you and give you a one-click way to report it. Not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn or X.
