Turn a Reddit, Facebook or Instagram thread - or any article you are reading - into a short AI-voiced debate on sloppod.app.

Sloppod turns a discussion thread into a short podcast episode. Not a read-aloud and not a summary: it finds the positions people in the thread actually took, gives each one a voice, and lets them argue at the weight the thread gave them. A thread that went ninety-ten sounds ninety-ten. This extension is the button for it. Open a Reddit thread, a public Facebook post or an Instagram post, click Sloppod, pick a length and a voice, and send it. The extension reads the post and its comments from inside the page you are already looking at, sends them to sloppod.app, and shows the episode being built step by step. When it is done, it links to the audio, and the episode lands in your own podcast feed. You need a Sloppod account. Sign-up is closed while the service is small, because every episode costs real money to make; ask for an account at https://sloppod.app/login and invitations go out a few at a time. The extension uses the same login as the website, so there is nothing to configure. Three voice tiers: Free (Microsoft Edge's read-aloud voices, English), Deluxe (OpenAI) and Studio (Google Chirp 3 HD). Episodes are public in the Sloppod feeds unless you choose private, and a thread about a private person's own situation comes out private regardless. Privacy: the extension reads a page only when you click it, never reads your login cookies, and keeps no browsing history. Commenters are never named in an episode.
