Slopless removes or hides AI-generated images, videos and text from the pages you visit WHAT IT DOES • Removes or blurs images and videos that are likely AI-generated. A short warning gives the reason, and a "View anyway" button reveals the item. A small tag lets you blur it again. • Flags AI-written text in a small corner badge that lists the passages it found. Nothing on the page moves or gets highlighted. • Picks up the AI labels that YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest put on posts. • Checks Google Docs documents and shows the result in the same badge. • Optionally hides Google's AI Overview and YouTube videos about AI. You can add your own words and allowed channels. • Choose blur or remove, set how confident it has to be, and turn it off on any site. • Report mistakes: mark anything it got wrong, or right-click something it missed. HOW IT DECIDES It combines four signals: AI tags in the file's metadata (such as Content Credentials), the platforms' own labels, writing patterns from a published guide to the signs of AI writing, and two open-source detection models (one for images, one for text). PRIVATE BY DESIGN The models run on your computer. The first time they're needed, the extension downloads them once (about 390 MB) and keeps them in your browser. After that, nothing about your browsing leaves your computer. No account and no analytics. LIMITS No detector is always right, so expect some misses and some false alarms. Text detection and hiding work on English only. Image checks are fastest on computers with a graphics card that supports WebGPU.
