Slop Patterns: check this page for AI design tells
Overview
Check any page for AI-era design patterns and broken basics. Runs on your computer and marks what it finds right on the page.
Slop Patterns shows you which parts of a page come from the same AI defaults as everyone else's, and how to fix them. It works on any page, whichever AI builder, coding agent or model made it, or if you wrote it by hand. Click the button on any page. You get a grade from A to F, a pencil mark on each pattern it finds, and a fix you can paste into your builder or coding agent. It also flags broken basics, like missing focus outlines and buttons with no name. While you build, Unslop shows the page without its slop, Inspect explains any element on hover, and Watch rechecks on localhost every time you save. The grade comes from a study of 4,725 Show HN launch pages, and every graded check was tested by hand. It runs on your computer, works on localhost and behind logins, and never sends the page anywhere. We keep only anonymous usage counts. The same checks also run inside coding agents over MCP: npx add-mcp https://sloppatterns.com/mcp By Precious Studio. Free pattern library: https://sloppatterns.com
