Transform your photos with slit-scan motion blur effects. Slit-Scan Editor is a Chrome extension that brings the classic slit-scan photography technique to your browser and lets you create dynamic motion streaks to static images. Perfect for photography, design work, and creative projects. Important: After installing go to ⋮ (menu) → Extensions → Manage Extensions. Find Slit-Scan Editor in the list. Click Details, then toggle Pin to toolbar. Global Slit-Scan Effect: Enable Slit-Scan Effect toggle for full-width effect Base Position: Set the horizontal scan line (0-100%) Intensity: Control effect strength (0-100%) Streak Length: Adjust vertical blur distance (0-100%) Vertical Strip Stack (Up to 7 Strips): Enable the Vertical Strip Stack toggle to activate strips Press + to add strips, × to clear all Press 1-7 keys to quickly select strips After selecting, adjust each strip independently (Set Base Position of GSS Effect to 0) Horizontal Position: Move strip left-right Vertical Position: Set individual scan line height Width: Adjust strip thickness Precision Strip Control (Arrow Keys): Right Arrow: Expand strip width to the right (+1px) Left Arrow: Expand strip width to the left (+1px) Up Arrow: Shrink strip from the left (-1px Down Arrow: Shrink strip from the right (-1px) This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user information or data of any kind.
