SlideDrift lets you: - build a brief from the current article or public webpage - capture a YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom video URL without transcript scraping - choose a rough title-and-URL outline or paste transcript text and notes - create from selected text or a link using the right-click menu - choose an audience, SlideDrift Story, and exact slide count - copy the brief for use anywhere, without signing in - open the brief in SlideDrift to generate and edit the carousel - revisit the last 10 source URLs stored locally in your browser The extension does not monitor pages, read page content in the background, or request access to every website. It acts only after you click the extension or one of its context-menu actions. The extension is free and does not run AI itself. Capturing and copying use no SlideDrift credits. AI generation happens after the handoff and follows the current SlideDrift guest allowance or account credit balance.
