Fetch your Slack user token and workspace ID with one click.
This is a simple extension that helps you quickly fetch your Slack user token and workspace ID, without doing anything technical. Normally, you’d have to dig through browser cookies or DevTools to find this info. With this extension, you don’t need coding skills or any hacks. Just install it, click a button, and copy the values you need. What this extension does ➜ Fetches your Slack user token with one click ➜ Shows your workspace ID instantly ➜ Lets you copy both values to your clipboard ➜ Works only when you click “Fetch” (it never runs in the background) ➜ Runs completely inside your browser, nothing is stored or sent anywhere How to use it ➜ Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. ➜ Open your Slack workspace in your browser (go to app.slack.com). ➜ Click the PenguinDMs extension icon and hit Fetch Token. ➜ Copy the token and workspace ID, then paste them inside your PenguinDMs dashboard. That’s it, a few clicks and you’re done. Troubleshooting ➜ The extension only works on a Slack tab. If you’re on another site or a blank tab, it won’t fetch anything. ➜ If the token doesn’t appear, refresh your Slack tab and try again. ➜ Still stuck?
