Slack Links

Converts hashtags to slack channel links when writing something like an email.

In a text input field on a webpage, this extension converts Slack channel names to hyperlinks that can be clicked to go directly to the Slack channel with that name. This extension is not affiliated with Slack at all. I simply wanted an easy way to link to slack channels when sending emails to coworkers. Using something like gmail, you can type your message as you normally would and include something like #channel-name and if you want that to link directly to the channel that you are referring to, then just click the button for the Slack Links extension and all your hashtags will be converted to channel links.
