Slabscout — Live Card Pricing
Overview
Fast card ID and honest eBay market pricing while watching Whatnot live auctions.
Whatnot card auctions move fast. A card hits the screen, the chat's flying, and you've got seconds to decide if the bid is a deal or a trap. Slabscout does the whole lookup in one keypress, right on top of the stream. Press S while a card is on screen and a small panel tells you: • WHAT THE CARD IS — player, set, year, and card number, read from the video and confirmed against real checklists. When it's sure, it says verified. When it isn't, it shows you the closest matches so you can tap the right one. • WHAT IT'S WORTH — a market value built from real sold prices, per grade (raw, PSA 9, PSA 10), plus how often the card actually sells. Slabs are detected automatically and priced at their grade. • WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY PAY — recent sold prices next to what sellers are currently asking, side by side. Asks run high; Slabscout says so instead of pretending an ask is a value. • WHETHER THE BID IS FAIR — it reads the live bid off the stream and tells you when it's over value, or when the room's asleep and you might be stealing one. It even shows your scan next to the real catalog image so you can see the match with your own eyes — no more bidding on the wrong card because the search pulled up a look-alike.
