Overview

Know whether a raw card is worth grading. Live grading-company pricing from the marketplaces you already browse.

Know whether a raw card is worth grading. Open a card listing and the SlabScore badge appears in the corner of the page. It reads the listing, asks the one thing it cannot know — what grade you expect — and gives you the Grading Outlook: what each grade sells for, what the grading company charges, what postage and selling fees cost, and what grading adds. How it works When a listing opens, the badge reads the listing's text off the page: its title, the price it prints, whether it says the card is already graded, and the set code and card number where the page states them in fields of their own. Those, and the listing's web address, are what it sends to look the card up. No picture is sent, and nothing else on the page is read. If the listing names the card's set and number — and its printing — the card is taken from the listing and marked from the listing, and one tap changes it. If it does not, the badge opens and asks, showing each match with its language, because an English name and a Japanese printing are different markets. It asks what grade you expect, with a button for every grade on your grading company's ladder — each showing what that grade sells for and what grading adds. Nothing here predicts a grade for you. Set the grade you usually expect once, and the badge opens straight on that grade's answer. You get the Grading Outlook, the recommendation, the sum that makes it, and the four things it is made of — profit potential, market depth, grade premium and downside. The page's price arrives pre-filled as what you paid, editable, and it changes what you would make — never the outlook itself. If the listing is already graded, it answers the two questions that are left instead: what crossing it to another company would do, and what every grade it could come back as is worth if you crack it — including the ones below the grade it already has. The badge's four tabs Result — the answer for the listing in front of you, with Save, Share and Open on the site. Search — look up any card by name, set or number. History — the cards you looked at, kept in this browser only. Compare — your two most recent cards, side by side. What you get ✓ Every figure sourced — a price that is not known shows as a dash with the reason, never as a zero ✓ The sum shown — sale, minus the card ungraded, grading and postage, and selling fees, equals what grading adds ✓ Five grading companies priced — pick yours once; every figure is in that company's market, with the fee and the tier that apply to your card. One tap switches the grades to any other company, and on every company but PSA each grade also shows what PSA's copy sells for ✓ A borrowed price is marked — when your grading company has no sale on record at that grade, the figure is filled in from elsewhere and labelled every time ✓ One click to save — the card lands in your collection at slabscore.io with the printing and the grade you chose ✓ You decide where it runs — switch automatic rating off for any marketplace, and the badge waits until you open it ✓ Nothing tracked — no usage reporting, no advertising profile, and no browsing history beyond the listing in front of you Supported marketplaces eBay (US, UK, CA, AU) TCGplayer PriceCharting Cardmarket 130point What it costs The extension is part of the SlabScore platform and follows your plan. Each listing opened uses one Grading Outlook — identifying the card, choosing its printing and trying every grade are included, and opening the same listing again within the hour is free. A lookup typed into the Search tab counts as a listing of its own. The Free plan includes 5 Grading Outlooks a day; signed in on slabscore.io, your account's plan applies. Plans: slabscore.io/pricing. Separately, at most 10 listings an hour are looked up — except on the Unlimited plan, which has no hourly limit — because live pricing costs money to serve. Privacy → · Terms → · Guide → · Discord → Permissions Content scripts on listing pages only — the extension runs on the card-listing pages of the five marketplaces above and nowhere else, to read the listing and show the badge in its corner. The badge is sealed from the page: the marketplace cannot read it, and it reads nothing but the listing text named below. It also runs on slabscore.io, to pick up that you are signed in there. activeTab — lets the toolbar icon open on the tab you are looking at. There is no tabs permission, so the extension cannot see your browsing history. storage — keeps, in this browser only: your three settings (your grading company, the grade you usually expect, and where the badge rates on its own), the list of cards you looked at for the History and Compare tabs, the anonymous token that counts the hourly limit, and your sign-in from slabscore.io. host_permissions: slabscore.io — the requests the extension makes: look up a card, ask what is left of today, check whether you are signed in, save a card. Honest data note: when a listing opens, this is sent to the SlabScore platform — its title, the price the page prints, whether it says the card is already graded, the set code and card number where the page states them in fields of their own, and the listing's web address, which says which marketplace it is and lets a repeat look within the hour go free. The price is used for one thing: to fill in what you paid, so the figures are about your card. A lookup you type in the Search tab sends what you typed. Nothing else on the page is read. No picture, no other page you visit, no advertising profile, and nothing is sold. Your History list never leaves the browser. The extension keeps a random token of its own to count the hourly limit; it is not linked to you and is never written to a database. There is no usage reporting of any kind. Signed out, what you have used today is counted in the server's memory and never written to a database; signed in, it counts against your account like any use of the site.
