Overview
Skysquare connects the public conversation on Bluesky directly to the articles you're reading, while you're reading them.
──────────────────────── WHAT IT DOES • Conversation beside the article. On supported sites, Skysquare opens an unobtrusive sidebar with Bluesky posts that share, quote, or discuss the article you are reading. Sort the conversation by recency, engagement, and other signals. • Highlights in the text. When someone quotes a passage from the article on Bluesky, Skysquare highlights that passage in place. See what caught readers’ attention, then see what they had to say about it. • Discover what your reading world is talking about. Explore other articles being shared by people in the Skysquare universe—so the conversation around one piece can lead you to the other reporting, analysis, and sources those same readers are paying attention to. • Sort by signal. Organize the conversation by recency, engagement, or the reach of the people sharing it—so you can move between what is new, what is resonating, and who is shaping the discussion. • List-aware views. Sign in with Bluesky to scope the conversation through your own lists. Focus on the people, communities, or subject-matter experts whose reading and commentary matter most to you. ──────────────────────── HOW IT WORKS Skysquare indexes public Bluesky posts that link to supported publishers. When you open one of those articles, the extension matches the page to its related public discussion and displays that context beside and within the article. Skysquare only activates on publishers it currently supports. On other sites, it stays out of the way: it does not load the Skysquare interface, make requests for article discussion, or modify the page. ──────────────────────── PRIVACY Skysquare is built around public discourse, not behavioral advertising. The posts, profiles, and engagement signals displayed in Skysquare come from publicly available Bluesky data. Skysquare does not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or use your reading activity for advertising. Skysquare only uses the page you are currently reading to locate relevant public discussion. Your Bluesky password is never shared with Skysquare: sign-in uses Bluesky’s official OAuth flow, and your authenticated session remains in your browser extension.
