Overview

Your reminders fly across the screen as a vintage plane towing a banner. Blimps, drones, balloons & a reminder train too.

SkyNote is a visual reminder extension that's impossible to ignore and impossible not to smile at. Instead of another notification you'll swipe away, a vintage propeller plane flies across your current tab towing a reminder banner with your message. ✈️ REMINDERS THAT FLY Schedule a reminder in seconds — "in 30 minutes" or at an exact time, once or repeating (daily, weekdays, or custom days). When it's time, your reminder banner crosses the screen at a random altitude with a fluttering banner, spinning propeller, and a gentle bob. Click the banner to pause the plane mid-air and hit Done ✓ or Snooze. 🛩️ PICK YOUR AIRCRAFT • Classic Plane — the signature banner tow (free forever) • Paper Plane — fast and minimal, for urgent reminders • Blimp — a slow, serene zeppelin for gentle nudges • Hot Air Balloon — drifts calmly upward, perfect for wellness reminders • LED Drone — hovers in with scrolling matrix text, peak work mode • Reminder Train — reminders due the same minute couple onto ONE train, one word per carriage Assign a vehicle per reminder, or let SkyNote auto-map by priority: urgent = paper plane, normal = plane, gentle = blimp. 🎬 SHARE A FLYOVER After any flight, render a clean replay clip of your funniest reminder — entirely in your browser. Send a friend a one-off flyover ("WILL YOU GRAB LUNCH? — 12:30"). Sharing once unlocks the Blimp and Paper Plane. 👽 KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SKY About 1% of flights carry a rare event: a UFO that borrows your banner, a sneezing dragon, a breaching whale, a fairy that turns your banner to gold… 16 in total. And at 10, 50, and 100 completed reminders, a celebratory three-plane formation drops confetti on your tab. 🧘 THOUGHTFUL WHERE IT COUNTS • Falls back to a standard notification on pages it can't fly over (and when you're away) • Respects reduced-motion settings with a calm fade-in banner • GPU-friendly animation that never blocks the page • Optional soft propeller hum (off by default) • Reminders sync across your devices 🔒 PRIVACY AS A FEATURE No servers. No accounts. No data collection — ever. Your reminders live in your browser's own sync storage, and share clips are rendered 100% locally on your machine. Boring reminders get ignored. Flying ones get done. 🛫
