Skreno — Screen Recorder with Transcripts & Dev Logs
Overview
Record your screen, annotate live, blur anything private. Each recording gets a link with a transcript, AI summary and dev logs.
Skreno is a screen recorder for recordings that have to explain something. Record a tab, a window or your whole screen with audio. Draw on it while you record. Blur anything you don't want in the video. Stop, and it's already uploaded — you get a link with a transcript, an AI summary, and the console and network log from the page you recorded sitting right underneath it. No watermark, on any plan. ━━━ WHAT ARRIVES WITH EVERY RECORDING ━━━ ✓ A share link that plays instantly — nothing to download, no file to send ✓ A searchable transcript, synced to the video ✓ An AI summary with key points and action items, not a paraphrase ✓ Comments pinned to the second, and numbered pins on the exact pixel of a screenshot ✓ The console output and network requests of the recorded page, stamped in video time ✓ An action timeline of the clicks and navigations that led up to the moment ━━━ THE PART OTHER SCREEN RECORDERS DON'T DO ━━━ CONSOLE AND NETWORK, RECORDED WITH THE VIDEO Every log line and every request — status, timing, headers, bodies — captured alongside the video and synced to the playhead. Scrub to the moment it broke and the errors from that second are already on screen. It is why a bug reported with Skreno gets fixed instead of returned with "can't reproduce". AN AI THAT READS THE LOG, NOT JUST THE TRANSCRIPT It matches a click to the error burst that followed, quotes the real response body, and rates severity. When the session looks clean it says nothing rather than inventing a finding. A BOT THAT JOINS YOUR CALLS Paste a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link and a Skreno notetaker joins as a visible participant — never a silent listener — and records the call live. It lands in your library with a transcript and a summary like any other recording. If the bot is never admitted, the meeting is not counted against your allowance. 20 calls a month on Pro, 35 on Max. ASK FOR A RECORDING INSTEAD OF ASKING FOR A DESCRIPTION Send a request link to a customer or a teammate. Single-use and revocable, and they need no account and no extension. If they do have the extension, the console and network log come with it. YOUR AI ASSISTANT CAN READ YOUR RECORDINGS Connect Skreno over MCP and Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT can search your library, pull the console output, failed requests and repro steps out of any recording, then comment on it, share it or file it. Pro and Max. FEEDBACK THAT ARRIVES WHILE YOU'RE WATCHING Comments, replies, reactions, resolves and drawings all appear live. Two people reviewing the same recording see each other work, and a dropped connection re-syncs instead of losing what it missed. STRAIGHT INTO YOUR TRACKER Send a recording to any Trello board with the console errors and an environment snapshot on the card — by hand, or automatically when the AI finds something. Jira, Asana and ClickUp are next. ━━━ WHO IT IS FOR ━━━ • Engineering — bug reports that arrive with the evidence: video, console, network waterfall and the action timeline, all synced to the playhead. • Customer support — get the recording from the customer instead of the description, and answer with a walkthrough instead of six numbered steps. • Design — feedback on the pixel, not the paragraph. Numbered pins on stills, timestamped comments on video, resolved as you go. • Product — ship the spec as a walkthrough, with the edge cases narrated and searchable in the transcript. • QA — a repro that survives: the clicks, the environment and the log travel with the video, so nobody has to ask what browser or what you clicked first. • Agencies — client feedback without another shared drive. Unlisted by default, private or public on Pro and Max. ━━━ BUILT SO YOU CAN RECORD YOUR REAL SCREEN ━━━ • Consent every time, not once. What a dev-log capture picks up depends on which tab is open right now, so Skreno asks before every recording that captures one — never once at install. • Typed characters are never recorded. The action timeline knows that typing happened and which named keys were pressed. It does not know what you typed, because that would be keylogging. • Blur is applied before the page runs. A blur zone is painted before the page's own scripts execute, so what you covered is never briefly visible — and it survives navigation. • Camera effects stay on your machine. Background blur and replacement run locally in WebAssembly. No frame is uploaded to produce the effect. • Your disk holds the original. The local copy is written by a dedicated worker and is the source of truth; the cloud copy is a convenience on top of it. ━━━ FREE PLAN, NO WATERMARK ━━━ 30 recordings · 15 minutes each · up to 720p · kept 30 days · unlimited screenshots and screenshot annotations · unlimited comments and reactions · timestamped and pinpoint comments · 5 transcripts a month · 3 AI summaries a month · 3 AI bug reports a month · console and network capture · webcam overlay and click effects · 10 recording requests a month Pro is $15 a month and Max is $19 a month — longer recordings, 4K, blur zones, the meeting bot, MCP and unlimited retention. Full breakdown at https://www.skreno.ai/pricing ━━━ PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN WORDS ━━━ Skreno needs access to pages so it can capture the console and network log of whatever you are recording, and so a blur zone can be painted before that page's own scripts run. It asks before every recording that captures a page. It does not read pages you are not recording, and it never records what you type.
