Skipper for YouTube – Block Channels, Artists & Ads
Overview
Never see an artist, song, channel or video again on YouTube and YouTube Music. Skips ads automatically.
Tired of the same artist in every YouTube Music mix, or a channel you never want to see again in your YouTube recommendations? Skipper for YouTube adds a Never again button to YouTube and YouTube Music. One click blocks what is playing now: • an artist, so none of their songs play again; • a song, or every version of it (live, cover, remix, sped up, slowed); • a YouTube channel; • a single video. Blocked songs and videos are skipped automatically, and matching cards are hidden from Home, search, recommendations and queues on both sites. Every skip shows a short reason with Play once and Undo, so a mistake is one click away from being fixed. Skip video ads automatically: as soon as YouTube shows its own Skip button on a video ad, Skipper skips it for you. Ads without a Skip button and static image ads still play. You can turn this off in settings. Built to be safe on music playlists: when several blocked tracks follow each other, Skipper keeps them muted and pauses an all-blocked playlist instead of skipping forever. Matching is deliberately careful, so an ordinary title that only mentions an artist stays visible. Good to know: Skipper works on regular videos and on music. YouTube Shorts are not covered: they are neither skipped nor hidden. Private by design. Your rules stay in your browser: no account, no tracking, no analytics and no network requests of its own. Export and import your rules as a file at any time. Available in English and Polish.
