Overview

Content warnings as you watch supported titles. Choose your triggers, skip a scene, or read a short summary.

Know what’s coming. Skip it if you want. Skipit gives you more control over what you see, with content warnings as you watch supported titles. Skip a flagged scene, or read a short summary and keep following the story. Choose the categories that matter to you and adjust your settings any time. You never need a reason. How it works - Get a heads-up before a flagged scene. - Choose to skip it or read a short, neutral summary. - Enable automatic skipping for eligible, reviewed scenes. AI-only alerts offer a warning and a choice. - Mark a scene or report a correction directly from the player. Scenes are timestamped ahead of time, rather than analyzed while you stream. Choose your categories Violence, sexual content, self-harm and mental health, abuse and manipulation, death and grief, medical, discrimination and hate, substance use, animals, fear and phobia, and sensory. Where it works Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Paramount+. Coverage varies by title. Supporting a platform does not mean every movie or episode has been screened. Know what’s covered Skipit uses scene information from several sources, including human annotations and Does The Dog Die? timestamps. Source and review information helps you understand where an alert came from. Some titles have only partial coverage. Available timestamps do not mean every trigger has been identified, and no warnings does not mean a title contains nothing distressing. Skipit can miss scenes or get timing wrong. You can report a problem or mark a scene to help improve coverage. Built with care Warnings use plain, non-graphic language. You control optional data collection and can export your data or request its deletion. Skipit is a tool for choice and pacing, not a medical or therapy service. Skipit is currently free. Skip scenes, not stories.
