Overview

uBlock-style Facebook ad blocker: network filters plus cosmetic hide of Sponsored/Ad units.

Skip Facebook Ads hides sponsored feed posts and right-column ads on facebook.com in your own browser. It looks for Facebook's Ad and Sponsored labels (including hidden characters Facebook inserts) and removes those cards from the page you see. It also hides some Page ads that use a verified tick in the author row without the word Ad. Footer links such as Ad choices are not treated as ads. Nothing is sent to a server. The toolbar toggle is stored on this device with Chrome's storage API. The extension only runs on Facebook pages. Facebook changes its markup often. Some ads may still appear until the extension is updated. This extension only changes how Facebook looks on your computer. It does not log into Facebook for you and does not collect your posts.
