SkillValue
Overview
Displays sub-level of highest main skill in Hattrick
SkillValue is your Hattrick sidekick: sub-level calculator + smart lineup picker + transfer filter. Less guesswork, more winning. Calculator 🧮 Reads the current wage to estimate the sub-level of the highest main skill (Passing/Set Pieces excluded). Most accurate near birthday. expect ±1–2 trainings. If two skills tie, take it with a pinch of salt. LineUp Tool ⚽ Uses skills + form, loyalty, experience to propose your best playable formation. One-click formation switching, clear total score, and who fits where. Requires the right-side player list to be expanded. Currently assumes normal roles (no individual orders; sub-levels not factored into lineup scoring). Transfer Filter 🧲 Cut the noise: filter by SkillValue sub-level (e.g., 8.5–9.2). Optional Ability & Potential (HTMS/FoxTrick) for scouts, NT coaches, talent hunters. Small print ⚠️ No sorcery — just the “unwritten rules.” A ±1–2 training miss can happen. It’s a solid starting point; you bring the tactics. What’s new in Version 3.2 🔹 Last-Match Activity Overlay - See on the pitch who trained or played—and how much—last match. - Position tiles colorized: lineup tiles now inherit the color of the left-edge indicator on each player card (training / last-match) as a subtle full-tile overlay. - Visual cues for partial participation: when that indicator means half training or played fewer than full match minutes, the tile shows a diagonal hatch; otherwise it’s a soft solid fill. - Drag & drop: coloring updates live while dragging. What’s new in Version 3.1 🔹 Improved Transfer Search design Replaced the old text link with a diskette icon for saving search profiles. Clearer and more consistent input fields. New floating panel with two buttons (Search & Clear) that always stay visible. Added keyboard shortcuts: Alt+S for Search, Alt+C for Clear. 🔹 Match orders – last match minutes Each player now shows a small icon with the minutes they played in the previous match. Colors are dynamic: from red → yellow → green depending on how many minutes were played. 🔹 Youth match orders – extended data The same “last match minutes” indicator is now available for youth players. Added a new card showing the player’s best performances in different positions: includes position, stars, date, and minutes played. The date links directly to the match. 🔹 LineUp Tool toggle New option in Settings to enable/disable the LineUp Tool entirely. What’s new in Version 3.0 🔹Added support for the Dark Reader extension — if you have it installed, SkillValue will now also run in dark mode. 🔹Fixed bugs with the Hungarian and Czech languages. What’s new in Version 2.9 🔹 Added a League Schedule right above the Division Battle in the right sidebar of the League page. 🔹 Fixed a bug with missing fields in the transfer search. What’s New in Version 2.7 SkillValue v2.7 brings another big step toward making scouting and transfer work both sharper and easier to read. 🔹 Cleaner “Transfer Search” layout Visual-only overhaul: sections are grouped into neat cards, no content changes — just easier on the eyes. 🔹 New “Undervalued” filter Show only players where the Transfer Compare average is higher than the asking price. Works seamlessly alongside all other filters (sub-levels, Ability/Potential, etc.). 🔹 On-card mini badge Each player card now gets a compact badge showing Avg / Ask / Δ (difference = Transfer Compare – Asking Price). Color cues make underpriced players pop at a glance. 🔹 How to use Open the filter panel, tick Undervalued, then hit Apply. The mini badge appears on qualifying cards with Avg / Ask / Δ. 🔹 Optional display upgrades (Settings → Appearance) – Compact player panel: refines layout into cards & clearer tables, tightens spacing, and polishes form/stamina and wage rows. – Enhanced transfer search: card-based layout for the transfer search form, cleaner and easier to scan. What's New in Vesrion 2.5 LineUp Tool v1.0 I'm excited to introduce a brand-new feature that takes SkillValue one step closer to being your all-in-one assistant: the LineUp Tool. No more endless guesswork, spreadsheets, or arguing with yourself at 2 a.m. about whether to play 3-5-2 or 4-4-2. This tool does the heavy lifting for you. 🔹 Important: for the tool to work properly, the players in the list on the right side of your screen must be in expanded mode. Otherwise, the magic won’t happen. It grabs your players’ skills – including loyalty, experience, and form – and crunches them into an individual rating for each player. Then it adds them all up, runs a few numbers, and suggests the best formation you can actually field. With the buttons you can play around with different setups and instantly see what ratings the tool spits out. ⚠️ Caveats: it doesn’t account for sub-levels of skills, and at this stage it only calculates based on normal play in each position – so no attacking/defensive orders are considered. The whole idea is simply to show you the top pick for each formation, as a base you can then tweak with your own tactical genius. What’s New in Version 2.4 🔹Added a SkillValue button on your team’s player page. 🔹Added an Ability & Potential filter (uses FoxTrick HTMS data if enabled). Even if you’re not skill-trading, you can now search the market for players with specific HTMS points. The filter is useful not only for skill traders but also for regular managers, as well as national team coaches and scouts. What’s New in Version 2.3 🔹 Per-Player Buttons in Transfer Lists Every player entry in the transfer list will now have its own SkillValue button. Clicking it will immediately open an overlay showing that player’s calculated sub-level. 🔹 Custom Sub-Level Filter This is an incredibly powerful feature that no other calculator has offered so far! Above your transfer list you’ll find a new filter panel with “Min” and “Max” fields. Enter any sub-level range you like (for example, 8.5–9.2) and click Apply. Only players whose SkillValue sub-level falls within that range will remain visible; everyone else is temporarily hidden until you reset or adjust the filter. What’s New in Version 2.2 🔹 New Language Support Added translations for: Dansk, Finnish, Czech and Magyar What’s New in Version 2.1 🔹Hotfix: Correct salary parsing for Italian & Portuguese weekly formats What’s New in Version 2.0 🔹 Sub‑level Forecasts You can now see projected sub‑levels of the main skill for different secondary‑skill sub‑levels. 🔹 Tie‑Breaker Beta When a player has two equally highest skills, the tool forecasts not only the top skill’s sub‑level but also the second‑strongest skill’s sub‑level (beta). 🔹 New Language Support Added translations for: English (United States), Português, Português (Brazil), Español (Latinoamericano), Español (Rioplatense), Svenska (Swedish) 🔹 Minor Bug Fixes Various small bugs and inconsistencies have been resolved. What’s New in Version 1.9 🔹 More accurate calculation for multi‑skilled players 🔹 Added support for Dutch and Romanian languages What’s New in Version 1.8 🔹 Added support for Italian and Polish languages 🔹 Fixed several minor bugs What’s New in Version 1.7 Important Due to extensive refactoring to add multi‑language support and other enhancements, version 1.7 may introduce new bugs. Features & Improvements 🔹 Multi‑language support: In addition to Bulgarian and English, you can now use German, French, and Spanish interfaces. 🔹 Foxtrick compatibility: Removed the requirement to disable ExtendedPlayerDetailsWage for Foxtrick users. 🔹 Flexible skill display: The extension now works regardless of how player skills are presented—skillbars, text, or a combination of both. 🔹 Under‑19 sublevel fix: Fixed an issue that caused incorrect sublevel calculations for players under 19 years old.
