The extension used to work admirably, but now the space no longer pauses the video!
Hey, make sure that you focus on the video, e.g., by clicking on it. Once you do, you'll be able to press space to pause/play

Exactly what you need! Just restart Chrome, if it doesn't work immediately after installing the extension.
No need to restart Chrome, you can just reload the web page :)
