Skills Installer lets you discover AI Agent Skills on supported sites and install them into your local AI tools — safely, in one click. Install Skills from skillsmp.com, skills.sh, ClawHub and GitHub (awesome-codex-skills) directly into the Skills directories of Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, WorkBuddy / CodeBuddy and Kimi Code. KEY FEATURES • One-click install — grab a Skill from any supported site without touching the terminal • Multi-target install — install to several AI tools at once, with transactional mode (all-or-nothing) and automatic rollback • Conflict handling — overwrite (with backup), skip, or always ask; you can remember your choice per tool • Safety first — SKILL.md validation, risk scanning for dangerous content (curl|bash, eval, rm -rf, sudo...), explicit directory authorization, write and read-back verification • ZIP fallback — when direct writing is not possible, download a ready-to-install ZIP with manual instructions • Install history & uninstall — see what you installed, where and when, and remove it cleanly • 4 UI languages — English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, Español HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a Skill detail page on a supported site 2. Click the Skills Installer button injected into the page 3. Choose target tools and install scope (global / project) 4. Authorize the target directory — the extension only writes files inside the folder you pick PRIVACY FIRST • No data collection, no analytics, no tracking • Skill files are downloaded and stored locally only • The extension never executes Skill content — scripts, commands and binaries inside a Skill are never run • Directory access uses the File System Access API with your explicit permission Agent Skills are folders that follow the open SKILL.md standard and extend AI coding tools with new capabilities.
