skiller
Overview
Generate Agent-Ready QA Skill Files from Jira, GitHub, and GitLab
skiller is a Chrome extension that helps QA engineers and developers generate structured, agent-ready QA skill files directly from Jira stories — without leaving your browser. Open any Jira story and skiller automatically detects the issue, reads the title, description, acceptance criteria, labels, and comments, then uses AI (Claude or GPT-4) to generate comprehensive QA artifacts in seconds. WHAT YOU CAN GENERATE • Test Case Files — detailed functional test cases mapped to acceptance criteria • Negative Test Scenarios — edge cases and invalid input paths • Edge Case Discovery — boundary conditions and unexpected user behaviors • Eval Generation — LLM evaluation prompts for AI-powered features • Dataset Generation — structured test data sets for automated testing • Risk Analysis — identifies high-risk areas and potential failure points • Test Plans — structured QA plans ready for sprint ceremonies HOW IT WORKS 1. Navigate to any Jira story on your Atlassian workspace 2. skiller detects the story automatically and appears in the side panel 3. Choose your AI provider (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI GPT-4) 4. Review the AI-generated skill plan and select which skills to generate 5. Download your skill files and use them directly with AI coding agents or your QA framework WHY SKILLER QA teams spend hours writing test cases manually. skiller reads the full context of your Jira story — including acceptance criteria, story points, sprint, components, and linked issues — and produces structured, consistent skill files that work directly with AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot. SUPPORTED WORKFLOWS • Works on all Jira Cloud (atlassian.net) workspaces • Supports Anthropic Claude and OpenAI models • Configurable depth: Shallow, Standard, or Deep skill generation • History panel to revisit previously generated skills • Manual input mode — no Jira story required PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS skiller only accesses pages on your Atlassian workspace (*.atlassian.net). Your API keys are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's encrypted storage and are never sent to any skiller server. Story data is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you configure (Anthropic or OpenAI). Required permissions: • activeTab — to read the current Jira page • storage — to save your API keys and history locally • sidePanel — to display the skiller panel • scripting — to extract Jira story content from the page
