Overview
View multiple city time zones in one popup—now with a built-in Time Converter for instant cross-time-zone planning.
Skies is a world clock that lives in your browser. Add the cities you care about and see their local time at a glance — no extra tabs, no mental math. 🕘 FIND THE HOURS THAT ACTUALLY WORK The Core Time panel shows everyone's working hours on one timeline and highlights where they overlap. When there's no overlap — which happens more often than you'd think — it tells you the closest workable time instead of leaving you to figure it out. Weekends and days off are handled too. If nobody's working today, Skies tells you when the next shared window is. 👁️ READ THE TIME, DON'T CALCULATE IT Every city card is a sky. Dawn pink, midday blue, dusk, deep night — the gradient matches that city's actual time of day, so you can tell who's asleep without reading a single number. Each card also shows how far that city is from you — "−13h", not "UTC−04" — and flags when it's already tomorrow there. 🔄 CONVERTER MODE Set any time and watch every city update at once, gradients included. Useful when you're proposing a slot and want to know what you're asking of everyone. 👌 NO ACCOUNT, NO PERMISSIONS, NO DATA Skies requests zero browser permissions. It doesn't read the pages you visit, doesn't collect analytics, and doesn't send your city list anywhere. Everything runs locally and stays on your machine. 💪 WHO IT'S FOR • Remote teams and anyone scheduling across time zones • People keeping an eye on friends, family, or markets abroad • Anyone who's tired of asking "wait, what time is it there?" 🔔 WHAT'S NEW 3.2.0 - Skies now works fully offline. City search, sky colors, fonts and flags are all built in — nothing is loaded from the internet. - Search cities in Chinese or Japanese, or by former names like Bangalore or Kiev. - Sky colors now follow the sun's actual position, so polar summers and winters look right. - Fixed: in India, Ukraine and Vietnam, your own city wasn't recognized as your time zone. 3.1.2 - You can now add up to 30 cities. The old limit of 10 was arbitrary — thanks to whoever wrote in about it. - Core Time is significantly faster, especially with many cities. - Fixed: Core Time was still calculating while the panel was hidden. 3.0.0 - Renamed from TimeMate to Skies — same extension, same developer, your cities are unchanged - Core Time panel — see overlapping work hours and the closest workable slot - Settings page — hour format, seconds, default work hours and work days, all in one place - Reference city chip in the header — switch your baseline and the whole list re-reads from that perspective - City cards now show relative offset instead of UTC offset - Tap a card to rename a city or remove it - Pinning and swipe gestures have been replaced by an edit mode — open Settings › Edit city list to reorder or delete - Shorter cards, cleaner header Skies is built and maintained by one person in Tokyo.
