SiteWhisper is an AI agent Chrome extension that lets you chat with any webpage and get things done. How it works: • Open the extension on any page and ask a question • The AI agent reads the page content, finds the most relevant sections, and answers your question • The agent decides what tools to use — search the page, summarize it, search the web, or connect to external apps Features: • Page Q&A — ask questions about any article, documentation, or webpage • Page Summary — get a full summary of any page in one click • Web Search — search the internet for up-to-date information (Tavily) • App Integrations — connect to Gmail, Google Docs, Slack, and 500+ apps (Composio) • Multi-provider — bring your own API key for Claude, Gemini, or OpenAI • Model selection — choose the specific model you want to use • Chat history — conversations persist across popup sessions • Live agent status — see what the agent is doing in real-time (Searching page, Finding tools, etc.) How RAG works under the hood: 1. The extension reads the page text 2. Backend splits it into smart chunks using sentence-aware splitting with overlap 3. Agent embeds chunks and finds the most relevant ones using cosine similarity 4. Only the relevant sections are sent to the AI for an accurate, grounded answer Your API keys are stored locally in your browser and never saved on our servers.
