SiteViewer for Squarespace
Overview
See your clients' SiteViewer comments as pins inside the Squarespace editor. Reply, react, attach and resolve without leaving it.
SiteViewer collects your clients' feedback on the site you are building, as pins on the page. This extension brings those pins into the Squarespace editor, on the page you are editing, so you work with the feedback in front of you instead of switching between two windows. What it does: - Shows each client comment as a numbered pin on the matching page, on the desktop view or the mobile view it was left on. Hover a pin to see what it points at. - Opens the thread beside the pin: the comment, when it was left, the client's picture of what they saw, and the details behind it (page, view, browser, window size). - Reply to the client as yourself, or leave a private note for your team. Attach a picture or a PDF. React. Edit or delete your own messages. - Resolve a comment when it is done, or reopen it. Assign it to someone on your team, and set the statuses your workspace uses, as you would in the review room. - Leave a comment of your own: switch to comment mode and click the spot. - Drag a pin to move it. - A quiet note in the corner when a client comments while you are editing, and the open count on the extension's icon. - Hide the pins for a site with one click, from the editor's own bar, and they stay hidden until you want them back. - A Comments panel beside the page, open from the start: every comment on the site with its whole conversation, open and resolved, on the desktop or the mobile view, with what is new since you last looked. Drag its edge to make it wider, fold it to a slim strip, or let it float anywhere. Switch it off for a site from the page, from the editor's bar or from the extension's icon. - Changes show within moments, both ways: a reply left in the review room or the dashboard appears in the editor as soon as it is saved, and what you do in the editor appears in the review room the same way. - Add a site to SiteViewer from the editor in one press: its address and name come from the site, and its site password is asked for only when it has one. On the Studio plan, comments work straight away. - Private replies, for notes your client should not see, are offered on a site once you switch them on; until then every reply is one your client can see. It connects to your SiteViewer account with one click and acts as you. It works with the live websites in your SiteViewer workspace, whether a site is a project of its own or one version of a project beside your mockups; the site you open in the editor is matched to it automatically.
