SiteSort: Download Router
Overview
Automatically sort downloads by site or page into the Downloads subfolder you choose, no more digging through one big folder.
Browsers dump every download into one flat folder. SiteSort watches where a download comes from and routes it into a subfolder of your Downloads directory automatically — set the rules once and forget about it. How it works - Per-page folder — the popup shows the current tab and lets you set a folder for that exact page in one click. - Site rules — in settings, map a hostname (example.com) or a specific path (example.com/sub-path) to a folder. The most specific matching rule wins. - Default folder — anything that doesn't match a rule falls back to a default folder you configure. Reliable source detection — cross-origin referrer policies often strip the page a download came from. SiteSort uses the active tab's real URL instead, so rules match reliably even when the browser's Referer header doesn't help. All folders are created as subfolders inside your browser's Downloads directory — extensions aren't allowed to save outside of it.
