Detailed Description: SiteMon is a lightweight tool for website administrators, developers, and freelancers who need to keep an eye on multiple sites at once. How it works: Add your websites to SiteMon and it checks them automatically in the background — every time you open your browser, and on a schedule you set. The toolbar icon turns red the moment any site goes down. Traffic light status: 🟢 Green — site is reachable and responding normally 🔴 Red — site is unreachable, timed out, or returned an HTTP error 🟡 Yellow — site loads but content verification failed, or expiry date is within 7 days Free features: • Monitor up to 6 websites • Automatic background checks on a schedule you set • Fetches the actual page title from each site • Click any site to open it in a new tab • Works entirely offline — no data ever leaves your browser Pro features: • Unlimited websites • Expiry date tracking — set a renewal deadline, get yellow/red alerts as it approaches • Content verification — specify text or regex; yellow alert if the pattern is missing • SEO health checks — title, H1, meta description, canonical, noindex status per site • Full-page dashboard • CSV export & import Privacy: SiteMon stores all data locally using chrome.storage.
