Overview
Quickly view the sitemap.xml (or sitemap index) of the current website. Useful for SEO and developers.
Sitemap Viewer makes it easy to inspect any website’s sitemap.xml or sitemap index directly from your browser toolbar. Built for SEOs, developers and site owners — no setup required. Visit a site, click the icon, and the extension will try to locate and display the sitemap. Key features Scans robots.txt for Sitemap: entries and tries common sitemap locations (/sitemap.xml, /sitemap_index.xml, /sitemap.xml.gz, etc.). Parses <loc> URLs and displays optional metadata: <lastmod>, <changefreq>, <priority>. Supports sitemap indexes (lists of sub-sitemaps). Pagination for very large sitemaps and lazy-loading to keep the UI responsive. Search and filter URLs in the popup. Export filtered URLs to CSV. Select multiple URLs and open them in new tabs (batch open). Privacy-focused: no telemetry or data collection — requests are made directly from your browser to the target website.
