SiteBouncer

A doorman for your attention span. Thorough site blocking for free; extra focus guardrails for a one-off $9.99.

Free, with a one-off upgrade. SiteBouncer blocks the websites you choose. All the time, or only during the hours you set. Try to visit one and you get SiteBouncer's wall instead: the site's name, how many times you tried today, and one button to pause for a few minutes if you really do need in. FREE, FOR GOOD • Blocks any site you add, and everything under it. Blocking google.com covers mail.google.com. • Hours per site. Block reddit.com on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:30 and leave it alone the rest of the time. • A pause from the wall, of a length you choose (1 to 60 minutes). The toolbar badge counts it down, and "Block now" ends it early. • While a pause runs, the paused site loses its colour, so you remember you let it in. You can switch that off. • When a pause ends or a site's hours begin, tabs already on that site go back to the wall. • Write your own line for the wall. • A dashboard of your week: walls hit, pauses taken, where you tried to go. THE UPGRADE: $9.99 ONCE • Commitments. Say what you're working on, pick 25, 50 or 90 minutes (or your own), and set the rules for it: block these sites, or allow only those. The rules switch on for that time, the badge counts down, and the wall tells you what you said you were doing. • At the end, you say whether you stayed on it. Your phone, games and other apps are on your honour; nothing is tracked. • Save rules you use often and start them again in one tap. • Allow only: an everyday mode that blocks everything except the sites you list. Every feature is unlocked for the first 14 days, no card needed. After that blocking stays free, and one purchase unlocks the rest for good: $9.99 for 2 browsers, or a $19.99 3-pack to share one key with 2 friends. Full refund within 14 days, just ask: hello@daneel.im. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • No account, no sign-up, no server of ours. • Your sites, rules and stats stay on your computer and belong to you. The one exception: if you buy a license, the key and a browser label are sent to Polar, our payment provider, to check it. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads. • No time or idle tracking. • No AI.
