Overview
Spell check any webpage with upsell to full site scan
Site Spell Checker lets you find spelling errors on any webpage with a single click. Just open the extension, click "Check This Page," and misspelled words are immediately highlighted in red — right on the page. FEATURES • Highlights misspelled words directly on the page • Shows correction suggestions on hover and in the popup • Lists all errors with surrounding context so you know exactly where they appear • Works on any webpage — blogs, forms, CMS previews, staging sites, anything • 100% private — all processing happens locally in your browser, nothing is sent to a server HOW IT WORKS Click the extension icon, then "Check This Page." The extension scans the visible text on the page using a full Hunspell English dictionary (~90,000 words), highlights errors in red, and lists them in the popup with suggested corrections. Click "Clear Highlights" when you're done. PRIVACY No page content ever leaves your browser. The dictionary and spell checking engine are bundled with the extension and run entirely on your device. FULL SITE CHECKING Need to check an entire website? Visit sitespellchecker.com to crawl and spell check all pages of a site at once, with detailed reports and exports.
