SIS Better UI for CUHKSZ
Overview
A clearer interface for CUHKSZ SIS course search, schedules, enrollment planning, and academic records.
SIS Better UI for CUHKSZ reorganizes the existing student information system into a clearer, desktop-first workspace while keeping PeopleSoft as the system of record. Main features: - Search classes by term, subject, career, and course number. - Review consistent course titles, meeting times, rooms, availability, and class details. - Add eligible classes to the native SIS shopping cart from search results. - Compare planned classes in a weekly timetable and identify time conflicts. - Navigate Shopping Cart, Add Classes, Drop Classes, grades, course history, advisors, transcripts, and supported applications with a consistent interface. - Keep login, final enrollment confirmation, drop, swap, edit, save, and application submission in native SIS. Privacy by design: - Runs only on sis.cuhk.edu.cn. - Processes SIS content locally in the browser. - Does not collect analytics, show ads, or operate a developer data server. - Does not store or transmit SIS passwords. This is an independent student-built extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen or Oracle PeopleSoft.
