Overview

With Ultratec SimpleSplit, a video's full screen stays in its zone, and clicks land where you aim. Does nothing without SimpleSplit.

Ultratec SimpleSplit divides your screen into zones. This companion extension keeps a video's full screen inside the zone its browser window is in. Chrome and Edge make their own full screen fill the whole monitor. On a split screen that covers your other zones, and once the window is put back into its zone, clicks on a video's controls, such as YouTube's play bar, land in the wrong place. With this extension, when a page asks for full screen (YouTube's full-screen button or its F key, and other video players) and its browser window is in a SimpleSplit zone, the video fills that browser window instead. Clicks land where you aim, and Esc leaves full screen as usual. Outside a zone, or when SimpleSplit isn't running, nothing changes: you get the browser's own full screen. Requires Ultratec SimpleSplit for Windows 11, version 1.2.0 or later. Without it, the extension does nothing. Privacy: the extension collects no data and sends nothing over the internet. It only asks the SimpleSplit app on your own PC whether the browser window is in a zone. Questions or problems: Jesse@ultratecjs.com
