simple video downloader

Find videos by thumbnail and save MP4, HLS/DASH or MP3 in Chrome. No extra software needed.

Play a video, recognize its thumbnail, and click download. A compact video list replaces long addresses; more options provide quality selection and MP3 saving. Features • Video-specific thumbnails and frame previews • Save ordinary video and audio files • Merge unencrypted HLS/DASH video-on-demand streams • Select available qualities, convert to MP3, and save supported subtitles • Progress, cancellation, retry and local download history • Compact popup and side panel • 40 interface languages, selected automatically from Chrome, including Arabic and Hebrew layouts No companion program, paid account or upload to a developer server is required. Merging and conversion run locally in Chrome using code bundled with the extension. Supported scope Conversion supports up to 512 MiB of input per job. Ordinary file saves are not subject to this conversion limit; available browser temporary storage and disk space still apply. Encrypted/DRM media, live streams, some DASH SegmentBase formats and site-specific proprietary players are not supported. Downloads are not guaranteed on every website. Use content you own or are allowed to download. Data use Page titles, media URLs and requests, and video thumbnails are read to build the download list. Settings and history stay in your Chrome profile. Internal requests use login sessions only when you enable that setting. Developer servers receive no video data, usage history, analytics or advertising data. Loading media and thumbnails contacts the original site/CDN. Chrome-managed direct downloads follow Chrome's normal session behavior.
