Simple Chrome extension that adds useful shortcuts.

Control Chrome with useful keyboard shortcuts for tabs, groups, windows, navigation, and media. GET BACK TO THE TAB YOU NEED • Last active tab returns to the tab you were just using. Press it again to toggle back. • Older recent tab walks backward through a stable list of up to 32 recently used tabs, skipping closed tabs and stopping at the oldest available entry. • Both work across normal Chrome windows in the same regular/incognito context. Collapsed destination groups expand to reveal your tab. MANAGE TABS AND GROUPS • Duplicate highlighted tabs with their navigation history, pin state, and group membership. • Pin or unpin tabs, create tabs near the current tab or within its group, and move selected tabs left, right, to the front, or to the back. • Move tabs between normal windows, cycle groups, collapse or expand groups, and rearrange all groups. • Open selected web tabs in incognito or navigate to a site's home page. COPY LINKS AND SCREENSHOTS • Copy all highlighted tab URLs in tab-strip order, one per line. • Copy the visible page as a PNG image directly to your clipboard. Suggested shortcut: Alt+Shift+S. • Screenshots exclude browser toolbars and the rest of the scrolling page. REMEMBER YOUR SHORTCUT SETUP • Search your actual shortcut assignments in a compact popup. • Save a snapshot for your operating system, compare missing or changed keys on another browser, and export or import a JSON backup. • Backups provide a restoration checklist. Chrome does not allow extensions to assign shortcut keys or read whether their scope is global, so restore keys manually in Chrome's shortcut settings. • Snapshots cover Simple Shortcuts only. Chrome Sync requires the same extension ID and compatible sync settings. CONTROL MEDIA • Pause HTML audio and video across accessible browser tabs after granting optional site access. • See audible or muted tabs in the popup, jump to them, and mute or unmute them. • Restricted pages and some players may not support pausing. SETUP Open the popup and choose Edit keys, or visit chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Suggested shortcuts on installation: • Duplicate tabs: Alt+Shift+D • Pin / unpin tabs: Alt+Shift+P • Open in incognito: Alt+Shift+N • Copy screenshot: Alt+Shift+S Assign the other commands yourself. Chrome or your operating system may reserve a key combination or leave a conflicting suggestion unassigned. Existing assignments remain attached to their existing commands. PRIVACY No analytics, advertising, remote scripts, or developer-operated data servers. Tab activity is used locally for tab switching and organization; screenshots and copied links go to your clipboard only when requested. Shortcut snapshots can use Chrome's sync storage. Media site access is optional and can be revoked from Backup → Revoke media. Requires Chrome 116 or newer.
