Simple JSON Formatter
Overview
Formats JSON pages. Shows raw content if not valid JSON.
This extension formats JSON strings no matter if the response header is "application/json" or not. If the JSON string is larger than 200KB, it asks the user if it should continue formatting or show the raw string, to prevent an eventual browser freeze. It checks the strings if they look like json and only format it if a basic check is passed. The version 1.0.1 also address a few css issues I found, removing any injected styling in the non-json pages. For the people who email me about promoting this extension, please, I do not want or need any promotion. I do not seek any financial benefits or any kind of advantages that might come from such promoting. I started to build this extension for myself at first, because I need a simple json formatter that actually works, without having my data collected or sent anywhere. Then I decided to share it with anyone. That's enough. If you need support for it, yes, I will gladly provide, just ask.
